Works and Projects
Since tomorrow is the first of October, I thought that I would finally share what I've been up to the last couple months.
Over the summer, I had the opportunity to photograph the comings and goings of the American Dance Festival at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. My trip was paid as part of a grant with my professor, Rick McCullough and another graduate student from FSU. We photographed classes and dress rehearsals for performances by such artists as Martha Clarke, Rosie Herrera, Paul Taylor Company, and Shen Wei. It was an exciting experience, and I hope to share the photographs someday. Just stay tuned!
More recently, I have been concentrating on my MFA Thesis Concert at school. This is quickly approaching and we have our opening night in just three weeks! I have contributed about 25 minutes consisting of four pieces of my own choreography and a solo set by the one and only Michael Foley. This concert is, by far, the most important experience of my career at the moment, and I am looking forward to seeing the fruits of my labor. More to come!

Old Photos A Day
So, since I am new to this particular blog, I am going to post some of my past, and favorite photographs per day (or so).
This photograph was taken in the fall of 2008 for a 2009 Calendar. I co-organized this photoshoot and we sold the calendars as a fundraiser for our Graduate Dance Council. All the dancers in this photograph were or still are students within the department.
