Dance

I was born and raised in a dancing family.  I began dancing at the age of three and have known of no better way to spend my time since.  I fell in love with ballet at eleven and joined the local ballet company for further training.  It was in my teenage years that I spent summers in New York City studying with Joffrey Ballet and American Ballet Theatre.  When I graduated high school, I continued to dance and teach at my family's studio as well as the ballet company.  I graduated college deciding to further my knowledge of the academic dance world.  Most recently, I produced my MFA Concert on October 22-23, 2010.  I also performed at the Ringling International Arts Festival (October 16) and the International Conference of Fine Arts Deans (October 29) in Sarasota, Florida.  I completed my Masters in December and graduated on the 10th.  I am currently applying for jobs at colleges and universities in order to continue teaching dance.
